Multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-winning Sacramento band Deftones have announced that they will be bringing their upcoming tour in support of their forthcoming 10th studio album, private music, to The O2 on Friday 20 February 2026. Deftones will be joined by Denzel Curry and Drug Church as support.
The announcement follows the release of Deftones' brand new single, “my mind is a mountain”, premiered by Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Radio show. The track gives fans a first glimpse into the sound and direction of private music, a record co-produced by the band and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who previously collaborated with them on Diamond Eyes [2010] and Koi No Yokan [2012].
Recorded in California’s Malibu, Joshua Tree, and in Nashville, Tennessee, private music sees Deftones continuing to push sonic and emotional boundaries. With the group’s unmistakable blend of heaviness and atmosphere, private music promises to be a landmark release in a career defined by fearless innovation.
