Jay Chou will be bringing his world tour to The O2 on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 January 2024.
Jay Chou, often referred to as the “King of Mandopop,”. His latest album, Greatest Works of Art, was an internationally bestselling album in 2022. The album's title track's music video rapidly garnered over 140 million views on Weibo within a single day, and the album has since exceeded 1 billion views on various platforms.
Notably, Jay Chou secured the highest global album sales last year, marking a historic achievement as the first Mandopop artist to do so. The IFPI 2022 Global Album Sales Chart, which accounts for both physical and digital album sales worldwide, ranked Chou at the top, followed by the Korean boy band BTS in second place and Taylor Swift in third place.
In UK, OVO Arena Wembley still has Jay Chou’s record two-day show sold out within just 20 minutes. This time, Jay Chou is about to sweep across Europe again with his upcoming Carnival World Tour. The concert will take place in The O2 on 9 and 10 January 2024.
